Monument record TR 15 NE 1467 - Anglo-Saxon occupation, Whitefriars

Summary

The excavation revealed Roman pits and cremation burials as well as traces of timber and masonry structures. Anglo-Saxon buildings and thoroughfares were discovered as were remains of the Medieval Friary church and associated burials, roads and buildings and pits.
