Full Description

Reference from Archaeological Survey: "Wagon lodge, although it might possibly have been a cattleshed. Early 19th century with late 20th century modifications. Front now weatherboarded ove 20th century concrete blockword, original end and rear walls of ragstone rubble with some red brick at south end. Long low range built on a rough north-south axis facing east onto the yard. It is built down the slope in three sections stepping down (6 bays, 3 bays and 2 bays) from north to south. Front is entirely 20th century and contains a series of doors to northern section. Front wall appears to include replacement posts to each truss. It was probably open originally. Roof of standard king post trusses from end to end." (1)
