Full Description

Reference From Archaeological Survey: "Shelter shed. Mid-late 19th century, maybe incorporating some earlier work. Rear wall and side sleeper walls of English bond brick, rest is weatherboarded timber framing; asbestos slate roof. Low, deep building open-fronted and facing north east into farmyard. Building is 2 bays deep and parts of the rear bay may be incorporated from the longer range shown here on the tithe map. 3-bay open front with plain posts with small straight braces. The timber framed side wall are made up of slender timbers with straight tension braces. Tie beam king post trusses. Roof is gable-ended." (1)
