Full Description

Reference from Archaeological Survey: "Stables. Early 19th century. Flemish bond red brick, front is plastered and lightly blocked out as ashlar; slate roof. Stable with hayloft over facing north towards the farmyard, Lean-to on west end with doorway and window above maybe secondary. Rest of the front symmetrical. Central ground floor doorway has been reduced in size but original windows each side. First floor openings all blocked but original plaster shows shape of central loading doorway flanked by lunette windows. Roof is hipped both ends and carried down over lean-to outshuts to west and rear. Interior was not available for inspection." (1)
