Full Description

Reference from Archaeological Survey: "Animal house/stable maybe with cartshed originally at Little chenway farm. Probably late 18th century- early 19th, a building is shown here on the 1841 tithe mao. Weatherboarded timber framing on brick footings; peg-tile roof, hipped both ends. Low single storey building on a north, door to south axis facing east. Cartshed double doorway to north, door to south with 2-light window to left. Partition between cartshed and stable/animal house door has connecting door. Rear wall of stable/animal house has timber manger and feeding rack. Common rafter roof with collars clasping purlins."
