Monument record TR 15 NW 1982 - Roman Metalling, High Street/The Parade

Summary

In 1975 along the north eastern side of St George's Street several walls and metalling of Roman date were recorded. In some sections Medieval road metalling was observed. Also seen were sections of tesserae, a decorated mosaic panel, and a Roman floor foundation.
