Monument record TR 15 NW 1986 - Roman Marble Tombstone Fragment, Stour Street

Summary

In 1911 a fragment of marble tombstone was found in Stour Street. It was suggested that the inscription reads LIIAE FIL AMATER, the slab being erected by by a lady called Ulpia to her daughter. The exact findspot is uncertain.
