Monument record TR 15 NW 1992 - Roman Structure at junction of High Street & St Margaret's Street

Summary

During extensive drainage works in Canterbury in 1868 Pilbrow noted three Roman masonry wall parallel to each other at the junction of St. Margaret's Street and High Street. The walls were constructed mainly with mortared Roman tiles.
