Monument record TR 15 NW 1996 - Roman Road Surface, Stour Street at junction with Hawk's Lane (Poor Priests Hospital)
Summary
In 1982 the chapel and a small service area to the north west of the chapel was investigated. Roman levels were encountered in this stage of the excavation. A major Roman street was uncovered at the east end of the chapel in the area of 14th century Sacristy.
