Monument record TR 15 NW 2033 - Roman Road, 68-69 Stour Street/Adelaide Place
Summary
The excavation revealed a number of Roman features and deposits. The earliest deposit was one of occupation and was cut by 3 mid 1st century ovens/kilns. A dump of brickearth sealed these early deposits, which in turn by a layer of rammed gravel, laid c. 70-80 AD.
