Full Description

Reference from archaeological survey: "cart horse stable. Sited backing on to the road, on a W axis, facing S into both the lower and higher yards to W of the farmhouse. Probably mid 19th century (appears to be on the 1872 OS map). Rear wall stone rubble, perhaps from an earlier building shown on the site on the tithe map. Timber-framed and weatherboarded 9painted) on brick footimgs ; slate roof, hipped at E end. Site slopes sharply up from W to E and at the W end the base of the building at the front is built up in stone rubble, although the internal floor level is even." (1)
