Full Description

Reference from Archaeological survey: "Granary with late stables. Pre 1840 granary, 9c1820) and probably mid 20th century stables. Lower stage Flemish bond brick; upper stage timber-framed and weatherboarded; pegtile roof, gabled at ends. Sited in the northwest corner of the yard on rising ground and roofed on a northwest - southeast axis. The northwest end has a ground floor doorway; external timber steps up to a first floor doorway. Near (southwest) centre door opposed to front doorway, which now opens into the later stables, built as a timber - framed leanto with a corrugated roof…" (1)
