Full Description

Reference from archaeological survey: "Stable. Mid-late 19th century. Mixed construction. Front and end wall of galleted Ragstone with red brick dressings; rear wall is timber-framed on tall Ragstone footings; gable-ended concrete tile roof (probably pegtile formerly). Relatively northwest onto the farmyard. Relatively small stable built onto southwest end of the barn. Right end is hidden behind later return of dairy. It is full height with plain framed plank door under overlight with glazing bars…" (1)
