Full Description

Reference from archaeological survey: "This building was converted to a milking parlour in the mid 20th century. It is now a poultry house. Its original function is uncertain but the evidence for several front doorways suggests that it might have been a stable. Late 19th century - early 20th century. Weatherboarded timber frame on brick footings; gable-ended pegtile roof. Long low single storey building facing south. The building is weatherboarded externally and plastered internally and therefore it is not possible to determine which of the doorways are all plain plank-and-ledge least two of the windows occupy former doorways…" (1)
