Full Description

Reference from Archaeological survey:" Weatherboarded timber frame on stone rubble footings with brick dressings (extensively patched up with 20th century brick and concrete blocks), office sections is concrete blockwork behind new weatherboarding and much of the other weatherboarding has be repalced in 20th century; corrugated asbestos roof, probably slate originally. Roof is half-hipped both ends. Long tall barn on rough north-south axis. 8 bays originally with 2 sets of opposing doorways to the 2 threshing floors. South midstrey doors now blocked by office construction. Northern doorways were both full but now east doorway blocked and west doorway has lost its doors…."(1)
