Building record TQ 45 SW 224 - Animal House at Goodley Stock

Summary

Built mid 19th century, incorporating some masonary from an earlier building possibly late 17th -early 18th century. The older masonary is on the front wall; header bond red brick on Ragstone footings surviving high enough to include a couple of blocked openings. The rest is Flemish bond red brick with hipped pegtile roof. The original use of this building is unclear, the disposition of the front openings suggests its use as a stable, its last use was a piggery.
