Full Description
Reference from archaeological survey: "Oasthouse. Mid 19th century. Stowage block of flemish bond red brick with some burnt headers including one bay of weatherboarded timber framing, and kiln is flemish garden bond brick; hipped pegtile roof. Oast built on a northwest - southeast axis, end onto the yard facing southwest towards the farmhouse. Rounded northwest end for single hop kiln. An external flight of 20th century brick stairs rise in front of the hopkiln to the stowage, the doorway is in the weatherboarded bay…" (1)
