Summary

Probable wagon lodge, sited northeast from farmhouse, at Old Soar Road A probable wagon lodge built in the 1860s. It is now in separate ownership to the farm and used as a garage to the converted oast house. It is timber-framed, hipped at the west end, and gabled at east.Although a building is shown on the 1841 Tithe map in this position, it is thought that the extant building is a later construction.

Full Description

The Kent Farmstead Survey was compiled between 1990 and 1993 and includes material from most areas around the county. Each file contains a description of the property, including historical notes, photographs and maps.
A probable wagon lodge built in the 1860s. It is now in separate ownership to the farm and used as a garage to the converted oast house. It is timber-framed, hipped at the west end, and gabled at east. (1)
