Monument record TR 15 NE 1519 - Roman Road, 113 Querns Road NE
Summary
Frank Jenkins observed in August 1954 that the ground in this location (prior to the construction of new housing) was stony and there was a poor growing soil. He postulated that this may represent the metalling of a Roman Road.
