Monument record TR 15 NW 2124 - Roman Metalling, Poor Priest Hospital, Water Lane

Summary

In April 1981 two brick lined wells were dismantled in the service wing (NW) of the Poor Priest's Hospital. This revealed that c. m below the 13th century floor was metalling, interpreted as from a Roman courtyard.
