Large quantities of imported marbles together with a number of architectural fragments were recovered from the latest courtayard surfacings, which may have belonged to a Roman Temple. The occupation within this substantial precinct ended some time in 5th century. A very badly disturbed horizon of 8th century date sealed the Roman deposits.
