Monument record TR 15 NW 2159 - Roman Kilns, Whitehall Gardens, St. Dunstan's

Summary

Two pottery kilns and a tilery of Roman date were uncovered. Kilns I and II were found in the spring of 1956 during the construction of a new road whilst Kiln III was located during the digging of foundations for a bungalow. The pottery found in association with the kilns date them to the second half of the second century AD.
