Full Description

On the 3rd of August 1944 a V1 flying bomb came down on a Nissan Hut being used by the four men as living accommodation during the demolition of 6 Nissan Huts. The Nissan Huts had been vacated by the Army in May of that year in preparation for D-Day.
Two of the four demolition workers were killed, the remaining two having been absent on leave.
