Full Description
In 2001 (?) The Canterbury Archaeological Trust excavated on a site on the corner of Rose Lane and Watling Street. The work was undertaken during the redevelopment of the area and was funded by Land Securities Plc. The excavation revealed Roman courtyards surfaces as well as Medieval pits and soil horizons.
