Summary
During work to the main drainage system of Canterbury in 1868 the city engineer, James Pilbrow, observed the presence of walls beneath High Street St Gregorys. The walls were interpreted as relating to the Priory compiled by Gill Andrews, it is not certain where she got this information from as it is not discussed in the Pilbrow article.
