Monument record TR 15 NE 1592 - Medieval Structural evidence, Almony House, east of Lady Wootton's Green
Summary
A Medieval cobbled surface and a fallen flint wall, possibly connected to the nearby monastery were revealed. In Trench II, two successive Medieval buildings were observed with several burnt loam hearths. Several pits cut into the Medieval layers and later a building with brick walls and a brick floor was erected on the site.
