Monument record TR 15 NE 1623 - Medieval occupation rear of 15 St. George's Street/Iron Bar Lane

Summary

Deep stratification survived, the earliest evidence for medieval activity being occupation deposits dated to the 12th century. In the 14th century the first buildings were erected on the site, with various floors and walls surviving, lying on either side of a contemporary metalled narrow alley.
