Monument record TR 15 NE 1628 - Medieval Human Remains, rear of 8-12 St. George's Street

Summary

During the digging of a drainage trench Frank Jenkins observed the boundary of the Whitefrairs precinct along wth numerous human bones and a headless pipeclay statuette of St John the Baptist which was recovered from the construction of these buildings.
