Monument record TR 15 NE 1635 - Medieval City wall Tower 15, between Northgate & Westgate

Summary

During work to the main drainage system of Canterbury in 1868 the city engineer, James Pilbrow, observed one of the city wall towers. This was located outside 6 St. Radigund's Street. The foundations proved the tower to semi-cicular shaped, the tower is now known as Tower 15.
