Summary

Landscape park and gardens to Linton Park. The park was landscaped during the 18th century and retains some of its original features. Additions to the park date from 1825 when John Claudius Loudon visited Linton. He produced a report -'Remarks on the Improvements proposed to be made at Linton Place'- which influenced much to the design and planting of the grounds including the new gardens and park
