Monument record TR 15 NW 2265 - Medieval Lodgings, 8-9 The Parade & 25-26 St Margaret's Street
Summary
In 1983-1984 The Canterbury Archaeological Trust examined and recorded elements of a building comprising 8-9 The Parade and 25-26 St Margaret's Street. The building is of Medieval date and is double jettied. Evidence for original partitioning at bay intervals indicates a 'row' or 'lodgings' development.
