Findspot record TQ 57 SW 50 - Roman coin (Nero) findspot, Dartford
Summary
A coin of Nero (AD 54-68), presented to Dartford Museum by Mr L.A. Hinkley of 69 Priory Road, Dartford, on 12.10.61, was found by him some years previously at the E. end of Essex Road, near the Scala Ballroom, at approximately TQ 53947420. It was in the gutter among garden rubbish where it had probably been thrown from one of the nearby front gardens.
