Full Description

Prob. B.A. quartzite mace head from Dartford Heath, showing the marks left by the boring tool in the perforation which is cylindrical, is in Maidstone Museum. (1) No further information could be gained concerning the exact provenance of the implement, or the date or circumstances of discovery. It was sectioned in 1964 and described as an adze or hoe-head.
