Monument record TQ 67 SE 101 - Enclosure - cropmark
Summary
This incomplete cropmark of a possible Iron Age enclosure is situated to the north of Harts Hill and can be seen on aerial photographs taken in 1978. No western part of the enclosure can be seen, but what is visible measures approximately 18m by 21m. The parish boundary appears to curve around this cropmark suggesting that this enclosure (and another to the west NMR 1550458) survived as an earthwork when this boundary was first laid out. This was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project
