Full Description
Cropmark of circular/sub circular enclosed settlement without internal features or entrance, sited to TQ 6628 7105 from good quality air photographs. Interpreted as Bronze Age. (1)
The site was excavated in 1994. The ring ditch was found to be c.23m with the ditch between 1.5m and 2m wide with steep sides and a flat base. The upper fills of the ditch contained Late Iron Age pottery, probably relating to the adjacent site of this date. (2)
