Full Description
Cropmark of possible enclosure fragment (angled) sited to TQ 6772 7137 from good quality air photographs. Unknown date. (1)
The incomplete cropmark of a possible Iron Age or Roman rectilinear enclosure can be seen on aerial photographs taken in 1978. This is situated to the north of Harts Hill and measures at least 41m by 65m. Immediately to the west is another cropmark of a ditch. These were mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.(2)
