Full Description

Roman coin mould dug up in the garden of The London & County Bank in High Street, Dartford, by the Manager, Mr. Dines. Given to British Museum - the first instance known to them of a coin mould found so far south in England. E.C. Youens, letter 24.5.21 (1). London & County Bank amalgamated with the London & Westminster in 1909 (2). The former London and County Bank was situated at TQ 5149 7406 (a): it is now the Westminster Bank. Coin mould sited to approx. TQ 5420 7410 (3). Additional references (4,5).
