Full Description

Roman relics found in digging a culvert near Dartford during the past year, exhibited, 1867, by the Rev. R.P. Coates. The most remarkable of these objects was a circular disk of very thin bronze, full of small holes perforated in lines running from the centre. It was considered to have been probably the object scale of a pair of balances. (1) No such article is held by Dartford Museum. No further information. (2)
