Method of Fix: HF Horizontal Datum: OGB Vertical Datum: LAT Quality of Depth: SWS 22-SEP-1950 Lucas wire drift sweep, position 51 31 53.0N, 001 02 36.0E clear at 19ft foul at 20ft surrounding depth 28ft. 20-MAY-1959 Dispersed to seabed. 22-NOV-1959 Lucas wire drift sweep. Clear at 25ft. Foul at 26ft surrounding depth 28ft position 51 31 51.0N, 001 02 38.0E. 11-DEC-1961 Lucas wire sweep clear 23ft, foul 25ft, least echosounder depth 31ft in 36ft. Appears to consist of general wreckage lying in one position. 25-JUN-1968 Located in charted position. Least depth 28ft in general depths 28-38ft. Scour to 41ft. Very good sonar contact from the north east. 08-SEP-1975 Fixed in position 51 31 51.0N, 001 02 37.0E. Drift sweep by a single vessel. Wreck cleared at 6.7m. Wreck fouled at 7.1m. Least depth over the wreck by echo 8.3m. In general sea bed depths of 12m by echosounder. Depth of scour by echosounder 13m. This wreck does not look like a wreck on the echosounder record. There is very little scour and the mounds spread over an area about 50m from east to west and about 60m from north to south. When the sweep fouled the wreck on several occasions it did not part.(1)
