Full Description
A Sestertius of Marcus Aurelius, 161-180, (identified by BM), was found at Heath Lane tip, Dartford, under the turf, by Mr. Caiphas, of 18, Windsor Drive,Dartford: Donated to the Museum, April 1956. (1) Mr. Caiphas indicated the findspot at TQ 5288 7324 This is on reclaimed land, formerly part of the tip. The coin was probably once a collector's piece. (2)
