Method of Fix: 10 Horizontal Datum: OGB Vertical Datum: LAT Quality of Depth: SWS 08-MAY-1959 Wreck located in 51 40 22.0N, 001 32 34.0E. Dispersed. 19-OCT-1979 Examined in 51 40 31.0N, 001 32 40.0E. Side scan sonar height 7.9m, length 38m. Lies 030/210 degrees. Requires to be wire-swept. 06-AUG-1980 Located in 51 40 31.0N, 001 32 39.0E. Side scan sonar height 6.5m, length 43m. Lies 035/215 degrees. Intact with highest point at centre of wreck. 13-SEP-1990 Examined in 51 40 30.5N, 001 32 39.1E. Length 35m, beam 7m. Lies 135/315 degrees. Large, relatively intact and partially buried in area of flat sandy seabed. A long plume of sand persists downstream of wreck. A large magnetic anomaly was observed.(1)
