Full Description
Iron ore and Roman pottery (? some Md.) were found by D. Baccarini, of 148a, Birchgrove Road, Wilmington, Dartford, 'near the above address, and donated to the Museum, 27.11.1954 (1) Mr. Baccarini left Dartford about nine years ago. The present occupier of 148a Birchwood Road, (now known as 211 Summerhouse Drive), knew of him but nothing of the finds. The ground around this property, formerly woodland, has been completely built over in the past few years. (2)
