Boats sweep, ship sweep and echosounder carried out by the vessel. Contacts obtained bracket(1) 9.5C 288deg from charted position. Found by echosounder to have small obstruction, least depth 63ft in general depth of 80ft. No foul(2) 7.5C 262deg from charted position. Clear at charted depth. 28-OCT-1959 Position(1) presumed to be wreck NUNIMA position(2) new unknown wreck(nm 2536/59) 16-DEC-1959 After further research more probable position thought to be 50 57 35N 001 11 11E, TH searched in this area but no wreck was found. 10-NOV-1959 A wreck was located in position 50 56 45N 001 10 30E chain and echosounder sweeping operations revealed a least depth of 79ft in general depth 98 to 109ft length 200ft standing 20ft from seabed and lying in a 030/210 deg dirn. 21-SEP-1977 In 50 56 49N 001 10 25E. Ng coords 622898E,121240N. Least depth by echosounder 24.8m in general depth 29-31m. Scour 33m. Side scan sonar ht 6m, length 53m. Lying 030/210 deg. (1)
