Vertical Datum: LAT Quality of Depth: ES Orientation: 120300 27-OCT-1959 Contacted whilst searching for DE FONTAINE echosounder tracing held. 27-OCT-1959 Boat sweep,ship sweep and echosounder carried out by THV VESTAL found by echosounder to be small obstruction, least echosounder 63ft no foul surrounding depth 80ft, position 51 00 06N 001 08 36E. 02-MAR-1961 Least echosounder depth 68ft. 27-SEP-1977 In 51 00 00N 001 08 36E. Ng coords 620530E, 127065N. Least echosounder depth 18.6m in general depth 24m. Scour 26m. Side scan sonar height 6.1m. Length 76m, lying 120/300 deg. 24-JUN-1986 Dived on in 1985. Small SS in upright position and well sunk into soft seabed. In a very decayed state. Stern, which is skeleton-like framework, is highest point, standing some 5m high. (1)
