Vertical Datum: LAT Orientation: 145325 02-MAR-1961 Least echosounder depth 54ft. 07-NOV-1961 Drift sweep clear 47ft foul 48ft least echosounder depth 54ft in 72ft scour 81ft. 19-OCT-1977 In 51 02 49N 001 15 01E. Ng coords 627800E, 132605N. Least echosounder depth 17.7m in general depth 22m. No scour. Side scan sonar height 2.9m, Length 36m. Lying 145/325 deg. 16-JUL-1982 Identified as wreck of cargo SS, with 2 holds ford and aft of bridge. Approx 140ft long, 25ft beam. Most of wreck upright, but bow broken 20ft from stem and lying on port side with max ht of 20ft above seabed. All superstructure flattened. Coal in stern holds. 22-DEC-1982 This wreck has engine amidships, therefore cannot be ISLAND QUEEN, which had engine in stern. 18-APR-1983 Position by decca yacht navigator is 51 02 46N 001 15 00E.
