Roman interments (1),at the top of the chalk quarry, between the Dartford Cement Company's Works and the road leading from the eastern end of Dartford High Street to Joyce Green. The skeletons lay N. and S., head to the N., in graves, side by side, 2 ft. 6 in. from the surface. The only associated find was a 2nd brass of Claudius (2).
