Monument record TR 15 NW 2347 - Medieval building, 4-5 Best Lane

Summary

The excavation revealed structural remains and significant areas of historic flooring (clay and beaten early floors). The archaeological finds dated to the Medieval period. Within the rear two bays of the ground floor a sequence of burnt tile hearths was uncovered suggesting the area had functioned as a kitchen.
