Findspot record TR 15 NE 1729 - Anglo-Saxon Find spot & Burial, St. Martin's Churchyard, Longport
Summary
In the burial ground attached to St Martin's chuch in 1860 were found looped gold coins and an intaglio. Also found was a Saxon or Frankish circular ornament set with garnets. Some of the coins were Merovingian, one is of Justin, (d 527 AD) Another was of the mid 6th century AD.
