Findspot record TR 15 SW 100 - Roman Burial Pots, Larkey Valley Wood, Horton

Summary

During the planting of fruit trees in December 1949 at Larkey Valley Wood, Horton, a Romano-British burial was uncovered. Finds included a circular spread of flints 23cm below the surface, the original ground level. These covered a shallow pit containing Romano-British pottery.
