Full Description

A Wessex Archaeology programme of archaeological mitigation works took place at The County Ground, Folkestone ahead of the construction of a new sports centre and pavillion at the Cricket Ground. (1) (2)

A substantial assemblage of worked flint was recovered from the site. It was dated typologically to the Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age. (1)
